My daughter's father has not been in her life for the past 5 years (she is 6 now), but he does pay child support. Is there a way to petition to have his parental rights terminated so that my husband and only known "dad" can legally adopt her and we won't have to worry about him pursuing his rights at a later date?

ive received court papers for an eviction. i own the MH but rent the lot. i am a disabled combat veteran. i heard there is a law stating that as a veteran i would be given 90days before i could actually be evicted from my home. is this true? And are is there any other laws refering to veterans and evictions that would be helpful to me? Thank You

I have $250,000 invested in a 1150 sq ft home and lot in a Surprise HOA, built with permits from the City. With that permit, my contractor built an 850 sq ft addition (story & a half) to a park model, wrapping all in stucco. Now realtors tell me they cannot put my property in the "residence" section of MLS but must list it under LAND/LOTS. How will out of state buyers find my home in a realtor.com or mls or zillow search? What was the legislature thinking when they dictated this? Thank you for any information you can provide.

My father passed away 1/16/2015. His is the only name on his home's deed. There is a reverse mortgage on the house and what is currently owed on the mortgage is more than the house is worth. My name is not on the deed and I don't plan on going to probate to get control of the house. The mortgage company is starting foreclosure. My question: is the estate, and me personally as the executor of the will, legally obligated maintain the homeowners insurance policy until the house is sold at the foreclosure auction which could take 1 to 2 years?
