QUESTIONS

  • My friend has been living in a house that is owned by someone no longer able to care for herself. He was living in the residence helping the lady with taking care of the house and chores that needed to be done in exchange for rent. When the lady became sick and went to the hospital my friend was allowed stay and keep up the house. Before leaving the hospital she was deemed not able to make decisions or take care of herself. A fiduciary was appointed to handle all of her property and now he wants to put the house up for sale. He then ordered my friend out on the house in 2 days. Is that ok?
  • My lease states that we are responsible for the "care and maintenance" of the appliances, the glass stove top broke during normal use and the landlord is requesting that we pay for it. Will any of this be put on my credit score?
