In May, I moved into a 12 unit complex in Scottsdale with a pool. The pool was green & the landlord told me it was being emptied, retiled, and filled & would be closed for a couple weeks. I am about to pay August's rent and the pool is still out of commission. It was emptied and two workers came one day to chip away the tiling. Nothing has been done since. What rights do I have as a tenant to start deduct rent or demanding repairs? The pool was a driving force in my renting & it's making a terrible for a terribly frustrating AZ summer. What do I tell my landlord??

Is a landlord still allowed to charge you full amount of rent if needing to leave the home for more than 1/2 month to fix mold found in walls? I’ve heard that they can however they are responsible for providing you a place to live in while the repairs are being made is that true? Or can a tenant use some of the rent money to provide housing while property is being fixed if landlord refuses to pay for housing. Please help!!

The father of my 18 month old son decided to break up with me recently and am very upset because of the breakup. I asked him to give me time before i could be able to allow "visitations" (nothing has been done by court yet). he doesnt want to respect my decision and is threatening me with calling the police if i won't let him see my son. Can he do that? can i file a protection order to help me "buy time"? can i be the first to contact the court so that i am able to stipulate the custody and parenting time terms?
