QUESTIONS

  • I signed a joint lease and paid my share to leave. The other person did not pay. Can they go after me for the balance?
  • I am representing myself in a modification of child custody.We have a trial set for November of this year. Throught all of the proceedings my ex-husband has not responded or filed any countering affidavits. His wife is now saying she will represent him in court as she has power of attorney over him. He is out of the country for 3 years (the courts are aware of this) but he is not with the military. Does the POA give his wife any ability to represent him? File statements or court documents on his behalf?
  • I have been renting this house for the past 18 months. April 25th a man showed up at the door and said that he is the owner of the house and said that my family and I have 10 days to vacate the house. He had a piece of paper with some other name on it and a different address. He crossed out that name and address and put my name and address. He said that if I can be out in 10 days he would pay $300 for the rental truck. I called the landlord and she said that is the owner and yes he plans on fixing up the house and selling it. I don't know what to do. My daughter and her two special needs
  • I own a trailer but rent the space from the mobile park home. the main water meter broke and they charge me for the water that was flooding the of the rest space. Which I sent the money into them. Now they sent the money back to me. They are refusing to take that payment for my rent because the yard where they dug up to fix the parks water meter and there's some weeds in the front yard are they able to refuse to take my rent?

  • My wife is permanatly disabled under social security disablity. Part of her disablitiy is problems with comprehension. Between her learning disablity and hearing impairment, she has a really hard time comunicating with doctors and insurance companies. She just can't comprehend these things. She wants me to be her Medical Power of Attorney so that she doesn't have to deal with insurance companies customer service. The only information I can find is related to seniors. Can you help us? Where to go.. who to see?
  • if i lost my gun rights (due to going to prison) but waited 12 years after getting out and started buying guns , and then got charged with misconduct with weapons. Because i did not know i had to file something, but after my arrest i have filed and got my civil and gun rights back, but am facing a class 4 felony and 4.5 years in prison. Is this beatable in trial due to to the fact i have my rights back now, after my new arrest though. Please help ASAP
  • I have a court order of no contact with my ex girlfriend but she is living in my house not paying any bills nor is she on the lease, but i cannot return home because i have to stay away from her. What can be done? I sent a letter to the courts ask for an amendment also with a letter from the landlord telling me to get her out of the house because she is not on the lease or i will be evicted. But again i cant go home to . Basically she can just staywith free rent eating grapes with legs kicked up.
