my apartmetns complex recently change management, I have been there for almost 3 yrs never had a problem now they are saying that I have to get rid f my plant, my electrical grill and charcoal grill which I know that im not suppose to use on my balcony, i use it 10 feet away from there which they say its allowed it does not say anywhere on my lease that I cannot have that on my patio balcony now they are saying that i have to get rid of them or they will do it for me is this allow?

I am 17 years old, currently 7 months away from being 18. My parents do not want me visiting my boyfriend who lives about 15 miles away from me on the weekends. I am determined to walk that distance every weekend and back, but never stay the night. My mother wants to forcibly keep me from going. I would never miss school if I did this. Can she call the police and make them drag me back to the house?

If I am filing a small claim for wrongly withholding deposit, do I bring my claim against the landlord or the property management company, or both? The property management company is who made the decision to withhold the deposit.

My grandson is 5 and has spent most of his life in my custody. He states he hates going home because there isn't any food or the electricity is turned off. Mom has since had 3 other children, and the father is threatening to take them. My concern is he is being neglected. Every now and then mom wants him back, but it's only briefly. Is there any way for me to get guardianship I worry so much for him?

My felony drug charge was set aside and all my rights have been restored for 7 years. My wife's ex-husband is making my prior conviction an issue in regard to custody of her 11year old daughter. She has been in my life now for 5 years. My mistake was before I knew my new wife. Will my charge put my wife's custody of her daughter in jeopardy?

We were told by a job worker that if my husband is going to school full-time (for 10month prgm) that that would be considered his full-time job to get cash assistance and i would be able to stay home with our 2 children who are 5 and 3

My husband was Active Duty Army when we married and had a son together. He got a divorce without my knowledge after 8 years and went on to Retire as a Sgt. Major. Am I entitled to part of his retirement ? I now live in AL and he lives in VA.

My Mother lived in and owned property in Sun City, AZ for about 30 yrs. She had two living children whom have had a rather toxic relationship. She had a living trust and her son is named Successor Trustee. In 2003 she suffered a small stroke and (while still mentally alert) she had a problem with her speaking ability. As a result, she retired as Trustee and named her son who divides his time between New Mexico and Alaska. Her son physically relocated her to New Mexico about 10 months before she passed in Feb. 2011. He had sold her property in AZ in Sept 2010 but moved all her personal belongings to his property in NM prior to that date. Her remains are interred in AZ. Which state would have jurisdiction if a probate proceeding is necessary? (i.e.- Say the Successor Trustee fails to act?)
