QUESTIONS

  • We discovered we had a rat in our apartment, that same day we reported it to the office and they scheduled for an exterminator to set traps two days later. The next day we started seeing ticks around the apartment, we have one dog and started him on Nexguard tick preventative right away. The apartments are stating that they do not cover for tick exterminator because the ticks couldn't have traveled via the rat. Who is responsible for tick extermination?
  • There have been issues with the water here at my apartments and due to this we have been having water leak from our fridge and rise up the toilet tub and sinks. The apartments have come out to "clear the pipes" a number of times but there is now water damage to the floor in the kitchen and when they came tp fix the floor they just reglued the fake wood down. What sjould we do?? I have renters insurance but i dont think i should have to pay for their pipes.

  • Owner of property i rent claims that half of my yard full of storm caused fallen palm fronds is just debris, not their problem, my responsibility. Since they have fallen..our home has been consumed with scorpions, my daughter even got stung by one couple days ago.   • I have rented for 3 years and a year and a half ago my girlfriend moved out - walked out on the lease. I stayed and informed the landlord that my girlfriend had walked out. I am now leaving the property and have given proper 30 day notice. The landlord is stating that the security deposit has to be made out to both myself and my ex because we were both on the original lease. My lease expired and I have been on a month to month basis for the last 2 years. Can the security deposit be issued in my name only if requested in writing on the Notice for Return of Security Deposit?

  • How do I contact the az legal help people? I filled out an online application but have been ignored. I have a judgement and part of that is for specific performance /forfeiture of my residence back to me after 3 years of no payments. I reside out of state because the bums have taken over the home and I need to gain possession. I was told I need a writ of restitution (whatever that is) and also told I need a lawyer to do this processing with the sheriff dept, and that is why I sought help from AZ law help. I have very low income $531.00 monthly
