If a person is self employed, what income value should the person use to calculate child support?

I am legally divorced, I was a stay at home mom. I have just started working pt, but do not have enough money to get a lawyer. Will his income be counted as mine, even though I have no access to it. I'm wondering if I qualify for free legal assistance. We are not agreeing on custody.

I have a neighbor that found a court notice slid under his door to appear in court on Monday I thought these had to be hand delivered in person and given to the person that needs to be in court or sent by certified mail am I wrong

My ex wife and I have been divorced for 18 months and it involved two kids. Our divorce decree and final agreement is filed in Rogers County Oklahoma. I now live in Arizona and have since the separation in May of 05. This summer my son came to visit and he has been asking his mom if he could live here and she gave me written and verbal permission that he could and now he has been here for 3 months with the agreement that we would modify the final agreement and child support. He is enrolled in school and school activities and after school activities and is doing very well. She is now wanting him to come back to Oklahoma and I want to file documents to keep her from doing this........can I do it here in Arizona or does he have to be here for a certain amount of time? Can my landlord/parents refuse to give a rental history? We rented from them for 9 years and the house was in a trust until they sold it without telling us. In court (over amount they owed for repairs) he admitted we never missed a payment or paid late but they refuse to sign anything or put anything in writing because they admitted they had not been paying taxes on the rental income we were paying! What can we do to get a rental history so we can buy a house or move into another rental? It's the only thing holding us back,

joint legal custody, i am the custodial parent, but father has final say. Is the father allowed to deny the child to go to be better school to receive a better education? He has no reason to not allow her to go to the new school other than he doesn't think its necessary. She almost failed 5th grade at her current public school. If I take him to court what are the chances of the judge allowing her to go to the better school? Isn't it supposed to be about what is in the child's best interest, not just about who has final say?

I live with my boyfriend we are not married and he has no intention of getting married. He intends on being involved in our, as he calls it “illegitimate child’s birth” and I would prefer to use my last name for our child. He disagrees and wants to use his last name. I have a child from a previous marriage and I find it difficult with us having different last names over the years with insurance and doctors appointments, just frustrating. Do I have to use our child’s father’s last name for this child?

I have a man in my home that was my boyfriend although there has not been a relationship for over two months. There is no lease or contract, he does not pay rent, he has stopped working and verbally abuses me and my children to the point my children are staying elsewhere. He refuses to leave so how can I get him out now?
