I signed a lease for 13 months. I was told there would be a cap of 60.00 for water. If I used less than that I paid for what I used. If I used 70.00 worth I would only pay 60.00. My water bill for 9 months has been approximately 15.00. I found out on 1/2/15 that I will be charged a standard amount of 80.00 a month because I have 2 bathrooms. Is this legal?

My friend has a friend who is losing her house through foreclosure. She paid an attorney $8,000.00 for assistance, and the attorney hasn't helped her in any advice, in over a month. Now she's worried that someone from the sheriff's Dept., is going to lock her out. She has 3 pets, is now broke, has no place to go, and all her belongings are still in her house. Can she request the sheriff's Dept., to give her an extention, until she can find a place to say, and to put her belongings somewhere else? And if so... how long can the extention be, at most? She lives in Phoenix, Az. Thank you~

Hi! I am one of the very lucky people to be granted a new trial. There was an error at trial and the judge ordered a new trial. My question is what happens at a retrial? Is it the same testimony from the first trial or can the victims change their story? For example, the victim admitted hitting me first during the first trial. Can he change that or does testimony have to be the same? I need to know this to help make a decision regarding accepting a plea offer. My attorney is unsure.
