  • Where can I get more information and help if I need emergency housing?
  • My husband was married 13 years ago, was going back and forth to school from yuma to Tucson. He acme home one weekend and his then wife filed for divorce said he abandoned her and the baby. But yet told him she cheated and the baby wasn't his. Her and her family kept the baby from him and filed a restraining order on him. It's been 13 years we have searched for her and his possible son. There last known location is Yuma Az. How do we go about having her served . He is now being hit for child support and $40,000? We need Answers. He wants to know is it his son and if not ??? please help
  • I was convicted of a non dangerous sex offense back in 1984. Was a level 1 till I got convicted of failure to register in 2001. That changed my level 2. I dont understand, since the original crime was non dangerous and the second felony was a technical crime, that now I am dangerous. Is there any hope for any of the non-dangerous sex offenders getting off the registery? This would open time and money to monitor the actual dangerous sex offenders.
  • My employer offers IFMLA and FMLA for medical reasons I exhausted the fmla and returned to work. How does the policy impact those who have been employees already for 4plus years who may need IFMLA when they return. My medical issue is still present but the company advised I have to be working again for 12 month 1250 hours before becoming eligible is this correct? I have read other employer policies and do not see where they roll back to the original date of the first leave request.
  • My son rented an apartment with two roommates. I signed as guarantor for my son and another boy had his mother sign for his guarantor. The apartment complex never obtained a guarantor for the third boy and I'm being told I am responsible for covering the last month's rent/cleaning fees/etc. for this boy.
  • Apartment has had leaks for years so stated. I moved in Dec. 2011. Leaks have been never ending when it does rain. Mgmt. company is likely to be fed up with me in complaints, and ask me to move. Is there anything to be done this side of making it worse for both of us?
  • I had a DUI in 2005. I thought everything was done. In 2014 the court issued a warrant for my arrest ( I found out because they suspended my concealed weapons license ) .I called the city court and they said it was over a DUI in 2005. I went to court , and the judge said I did not do 36 hours of alcohol treatment. I had receipts for traffic school, MADD school, level 1 school . The attorney I had, when I called him, said that a retired judge was going back thru all the DUI cases because Tucson was broke and was trying to get more money from everybody. Is this legal after 9 years?
  • how can a disabled person with limited income obtain legal counsel to visit his/her grandchild (raised by grandparents since birth)
  • When my husband and I were in the process of being approved for an apartment we were told that we each needed to prove that we had income. My husbands income was enough to cover the requirments, but I needed to have income in case my husband left me. We were able to get into the apartment because I have a very small income from working at home. I am worried that this will come up again when we move to a new apartment. Is this discrimination against families with stay-at-home moms?
  • My husband recently passed away and I found out he took out a signature loan from a credit union. I'm not on the account, I had nothing to do with the loan, and my income was not part of the application process. Am I required to repay this loan?
