  • I have been told that my living situation with the kids is illegal. Currently we live in a small townhome and two boys and a girl live in the same room. The boys are 13 and 10 and the girl is 14. Are there laws against this?
  • I have been moved in my apt since 3/26/2020 and I haven't received my mailbox key as of today. I've been inquiring about it. My mailbox needs repairs to get a key and get my nail. On Nov 16, renter said the house was full of old cigarette smoke and couldn't live there so she gave 30 day notice. On Nov 23, she was gone along with all of her possessions leaving the room completely empty but she had paid up until November 30 and did not return the keys. She did not pay for Dec and I have damage deposit. Can I rent the room starting Dec 1 without repercussions from the renter.

  • We were paying our electricity through our apartment complex. They would bill it to us each month with our rent with a 50 dollar service fee. Last month they didn't bill us for it and it wasn't in our bill, so we were waiting until they gave us the bill or it was just added on to next months payment and/or rent. They did add it on to the next months rent/bill and we usually pay the 3rd if every month which isn't late. They turned off our power without any notice AT ALL on the second. They didn't give any warning what so ever. Is that legal?!
