What if my child has no father listed on the birth certificate,I don't want a paternity test, and I have handled ALL of his medical care for his condition since he was born and he lives with me, do I need to file for custody of my son even though I have it, it's just not legal through a court?

Is a landlord required to provide a washing machine if it is not specified in the rental agreement? If the rental agreement specifies that the tenant is responsible for maintenance and repairs of all appliances provided in the home, is the landlord obligated to use a home warranty fund for such repairs?

We have moved out of our rental and the move out inspection was done without us being present and they said everything looked fine. We have lived in the residence for 3 years. During this time we chipped the counter which is granite countertops and now the owner is talking about us paying for replacement of a entire new countertop. The chip is about the size of a quarter and our deposit was $900.00. Is this something the owner can do and can they come after me beyond my security deposit?

The home I'm renting (leased through August 2015) was foreclosed on and there's a new owner. Do I have to pay rent to the new owner if I'm leaving in 6 weeks? Or do they have to give me an eviction notice? The new owner is demanding rent, but she doesn't have the deed yet, just a proof of purchase receipt.
