I have lived at the same complex for a few years. The property has changed hands and the staff also has changed. The current manager has been here over six months. I have never been charged late fees when I went past the grace period and I have some bank information to support that has occurred more than once. This month she stuck me with over $70 in late fees for the first time. I asked her why she is now penalizing me for the first time and she said she is tired of everyone walking all over her. I am under the impression that since she has not previously enforced the fees that she can't now?

My son was married for 10 years. She always wanted to be the one bringing in all the money. My son was given an allowance. She makes close to 60,000 a year and basically told my son to get a job the last year. He couldn't find one and she decided to ask him to leave. He left with just some stuff and nothing else. Do you think he would be able to get alimony at least for awhile? No children. He is 29 and will be looking for a job now obviously, but he was left with nothing. Ty for any advice in advance

My husband and I are renting a home from an out of state owner. The property is managed by a property manager. We replaced the hallway carpet in February due to our pet rearing it up. Per our pet agreement it was our responsibility. 1 week later a hose under our hallway bathroom but and caused it to flood. Damaging the tile floor in the kitchen. Now they are trying to say we tampered with the hose and are responsible for half of the bill, inspection and replacement of the carpet. Can they do this?

I sublet an office space that was given to me from my parents to use for ministry. The person moved in on The 7th and because he hadn't meet the owner wanted a full refund stating I fluently rented it, yet still is occupying the space as of today and refuses to turn in keys or move her things. She signed a month to month lease on July 7th. Do I owe her the money back and if not how do I get her out?

My spouse was stationed as active duty in AZ, where we bought a house together and he still has an AZ driver's license, pays AZ taxes, and that house is his official address of record. Mine has changed. Can I file for divorce in AZ since he is an AZ resident (does the court consider him an AZ resident)? Thank you.
