QUESTIONS

  • My Mom is an 80-year old senior with legal status, diable, no income, arrived in the US November 2007. She was just recently approved for AHCCCS Federal Emergency Services. I made an appeal to AHCCCS that she be granted a regular full coverage because of her current medical condition. What are the rights of the seniors in Arizona with the same case of my Mom in terms of health care. She has heart disease, severe arthritis, acute glaucoma that needs to be followed-up by specialists. She has been due for medical check up and needs continuous medication for the above illnesses. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  • Am I responsible for my husband's credit card debt? He is the primary person on the account. The credit card company closed the account when they were notified of his passing. There is no money to pay the bill, so am I still responsible for this debt?
  • My husband and I have been separated for 7 months, I have our 3 year old son with me in Arizona with family and my husband stayed in our home in Colorado. He hasn't seen or attempted to see our son and speaks on the phone with him MAYBE once a month, he hasn't supported him financially this whole time even though he has a steady job. My contact information has remained the same this whole time as well. I have never denied him access to our son he chooses not to contact him would his actions be considered a form of abandonment
  • Hello!! at the present time I'm a residente of Phoenix,Az. However, I've a child support case going in Puerto Rico. I'm trying to obtain a reduction in my child support payments since now I have a new baby and my financial situation has been deeply affected, plus others factors that I'm willing to discuss later. From the child support office in PR I was suggested to start my case here. How do I start that process? Who do I contact? What kind of paperwork do I need? Thanks for your time!!
  • I have been told that is a mother and father of a child come to an agreement on custody, child support and other issues pertaining to the child that they can write it out sign it notarize it and it is legal and will hold up in court. Is this true?
  • I'm 66 and have applied for a Loan Modification (it was approved) however, the service r is asking for "Good Faith" money up front before they will finalize the Modification Agreement. This up-front money was NEVER mentioned in any of their correspondence and when I received my Modification packet this past Saturday ...in their cover letter they mention this "good faith" money....but it is NOT part of the Modification Agreement. Is this legal for them to ask for 4 months of payemnts and then start the actual modification payment 12/1/2015? They want this money AND the agreement before Tuesday the 17th ..so this is VERY URGENT for me to receive some advise ...and should I sign the agreement. I'm also searching for a Pro Bono attorney to review these documents. ###
  • Are corectional officers required to keep records of all conflicts and injuries within the facility? What happens if they loose a piece of evidance? What if this seems to be done on purpose?
  • I co-signed for my grandson on an auto loan. He had a great job but he had a nervous break down and was diagnosed bipolar and can't keep a steady job. He refuses to return the car so sure he's going to be able to get his life back together. It hurts so much to se him struggle. But I've done all I can do. Now they've placed a lean on my home. What can I do?
  • My neighbor upstairs has 3 kids aand 2 adults. I have gone to management many times to ask them to send a notice about being too loud. The jumping around is so loud it vibrates my windows,I have gone up to talk to the lady and ask her to keep it down a bit. I saw one of the children riding a scooter in the apartment and another jumping off furniture,I told the management about this but they told me it's "part of apartment living" In the lease it states I'm allowed my peace and quiet. 2 days later I got a notice saying I'm not allowed to "pound excessively" on the neighbors door. What can I do?
  • We are on a month to month lease with 60 notice to vacate. We are actually vacating after 30 days, leaving the house empty (but open to potential new tenants) for the remainder of the terms. Who is responsible for the utilities during that time? I don't want someone to leave a light on and be charged for it after we have turned the property back over the the management company.
