My landlord added a line in my lease that he can charge me for maintenance calls. I believed this to be for damage to the property that was our fault. After moving in we noticed a huge leek under the sink that was flooding onto the floor He charged us $75 for reporting the problem to him Then there was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Again he charged me $75. Is this legal? Isn’t it the landlords responsibility to maintain good plumbing? Do I really have to pay for him to repair someone else’s house?

I read in the A.R.S. §§ 33-1322 –1324, which specifies: A landlord is required to do the following: Supply running water and reasonable amounts of hot water. Questions: Must I, as a Landlord, have to pay my tenants gas bill for hot water? What does "reasonable amounts of hot water" mean specifically? The water heater is in good condition and does not repairs. P.S., I already pay their monthly water that comes from the city.

I've paid a security deposit of $300 for my apt. and have a receipt. The landlord is increasing the amount to $400 and says I owe another $100! I say no! You can charge new tenants whatever you want that's legal, but you can't increase my amount after the fact. Please let me know if I must pay the additional $100. Thank you.

My father remarried two years ago. His health is taking a turn for the worse and he will need assisted living soon. They currently live in independent living with a meal plan. His own retirement is enough to cover the cost of assisted living, but his new wife is spending money on groceries that they don't need - about 900 dollars a month. The family is thinking of getting my dad out of this situation, but we don't know what the best thing to do is. What steps should we take?
