I no longer live in AZ but a legal office where I live said AZ still has jurisdiction on the case. I share joint legal custody with my sons father. We do not reside in the same state but he says I need a lawyer to move. There is approximately 6-7 hours driving time between our current residences and when I move it will be that long of a flight time. Can he prevent me from moving? I gave him verbal notice and followed up with an email of when we plan to leave so he is fully aware of the relocation.

My landlord has a primary person that lives in the community that acts as the landlord and basically handles everything including maintenance. Meaning, he is the one making all repairs. He is creepy, hangs out and thinkers with repairs, he is not certified and shabby workmanship and shows up knocking at my door to hand out information rather than mailing. I am a single female living alone and I really don't won't him coming over whenever he wants to. Is his behavior legal, I have told him not to show up knocking and have informed him the next time I will call the police but he continues.

When my husband and I were in the process of being approved for an apartment we were told that we each needed to prove that we had income. My husbands income was enough to cover the requirments, but I needed to have income in case my husband left me. We were able to get into the apartment because I have a very small income from working at home. I am worried that this will come up again when we move to a new apartment. Is this discrimination against families with stay-at-home moms?

My divorce decree from over 40 years ago specifies my former wife may continue to reside in our former residence. Both our names are on deed to the property. How can I find out if I have any liability related to this property since my name is still on it. And if I do, how do I protect myself?

I am a property manager. I moved some tenants into a rental house that was a bank-owned ( as is) property. There are scorpions. Can the tenant break the lease because of this? I have sent out exterminators but the scopions live on! Of course we did not see any when looking at the property. Thanks.

I recently renewed my lease. When doing that I made it aware to my apartment manager that my ceiling was leaking!I was told that the AC unit ( which is a P-tech unit like used in hotels) from the apartment above me was leaking. So they told the tenants to place a bucket under the unit to catch the water!!! Well my ceiling still leaks from time to time and the sheet rock has started to fall, and the window casing near the leak had also beginto fall!! Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?
