QUESTIONS

  • I was considering a move from Texas to Show Low AZ. I put a $1000 deposit and paid $445 lot fee. When I returned home in TX. I realized that downsizing from a 2300sqft home to a 900sqft trailer was not doable for me at this time. After 2 days from signing the agreement, I gave my formal written notice that I had changed my mind. Now the owner will not refund my money. What can I do. $1400 dollars is quite an amount to keep for just because. I was told they could have shown the trailer 2 times during that time, however the unit was not even ready for someone to move in.
  • I accidentally over paid my rent. Is there a timeline for when my landlord should repay me?
  • I have joint custody and am needing to file a petition to prevent relocation. The court gave me a blank title page packet. What do I need to include in this petition?
  • My Landlord has started Eviction proceedings and has become quite vicious about the whole issue. I do not dispute the fact that I am late with the rent. (Serious Medical Issues arose) and have been attempting to make arrangements for the arrears and current amounts due. He is refusing to discuss that option. He is now adding that I am a problem to the other neighbors, in addition huge maintenance list he has told me has cost the landlord undue stress and hardship.   • I purchased an ET center from a local store. I signed a paper that said no refunds and exchanges are per their approval. I asked them to place this furniture on hold for a least a month as our home was being rebuilt from a fire. Twelve days later I called them and advised I no longer wanted the furniture and they have refused to credit my credit card due to the paper I signed. Is this legal for them to say no refunds on furniture I never got?
