QUESTIONS

  • I'm buying my mobile home but I rent my space, and where I rent they want information on my boyfriend that might start living with me, is this required even though it is my own home?
  • I was charged for burglary and theft felonies. I signed a plea admitting to the theft and the burglary charge was dismissed. After completing my probation the theft was reduced to a misdemeanor. I then had the misdemeanor set aside. Both the burglary and theft are showing up on an apartment background check and they don't say anything about being dismissed or set aside. Could this be an error? Could the court have mistakenly not cleared the conviction? Or is it the program they are using is not accurate? Thanks
  • I have had a roof leak for 3 months, gradually worsening despite the manager's claim if was repaired. I have photo documentation as well as emails.   • Moved into renovated home was to be done by 6/18 (day moved in). Upon arrival; 2 baseball size holes in 2 windows & piles of trash under carport. Due to incorrect measurements windows would be another week. Week1 dryer vent had to be re-cut, electrician rewired house due to fire hazard. Week2 plumbing unable to do laundry 2weeks now, family has to share 1 bathroom, windows not replaced. Week3 windows replaced 7/1–7/6, plumbing on hold to find better price (laundry?), & still sharing bathroom. Was given 1 months free rent but asking us to pay full electricity bill. What are her obligations?
  • Hi, I am a graduate student who just completed my PhD in Neuroscience. I recently received my first ever speeding ticket in Arizona for excessive speeding. It is called a criminal speeding ticket. I have an otherwise clean driving record. The speeding ticket was issued at a moment of non focus and I was not consistently driving at the high speed. I cannot afford to hire a lawyer and am worried about a conviction. Also, I live out of state and am applying for permanent residency. Can you adivse me about pleading guilty to such a charge or help with hiring an attorney.
  • I had a family court case transferred from New Mexico to Arizona a couple months ago. I had a hearing in AZ on 10/30. They required me to send my ex husband (in NM) a letter stating that there was a hearing set. He went back to the NM court the day before our hearing was set and he had a trial set in NM. I need to know what I need to do since the case has been transferred to AZ for months and we have a mediation date and another trial date set.
  • I have received a notice to move in 30 days...actually it is only 28 days as they did not figure Feb being a short month...is this legal? They want me to move in the middle of the month...my lease is up in 9/15 - they have given me no reason. Is this legal? Can they evict me? What can I do to stop this?
