  • If a department head says you were not hired because they have closed the hiring process. However, there are still jobs posted on the website and the hiring department says there are still job openings. What can be done?
  • I work in sales with commissions and might be changing jobs. Will I be due the commissions from my old job?

  • I quit my job in May to seek a higher position. Contacted my former employer July and let them know it was not working out and would like to come back. Was told they would call me in october when the position became available again. Found out they offered the position to a current employee, but, never contaced me to offer me my position back as stated they would. What legal recourse do have at this point?
  • I have been employed in AZ. for 36 years to a Texas based company. They have sent notice that I enroll in direct deposit by Dec.1st,2014 in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement made by my union in july 2008. providing that, "the carrier may implement arrangements for the direct deposit of any payments due its employees covered by this agreement." They did not offer alternatives or consequences for failure to do so, only that I would be "subject to remedy." Can they force me to direct deposit or "remedy"? I currently receive my pay bi-monthly via USPS. Thank you.

What this company did was deposit large amounts of money into my personal acct, then they wanted me to withdraw the money and have it transferred to other people in Russia by using a funds transfer service. My bank froze my bank acct because it would be under investigation because they did not know were this money was coming from.

Now they are sending security telling us we cannot smoke in front of other businesses on public property and on public reserve land by putting up extreme fire danger signs year round. Can they enforce where we smoke or vape when off of company grounds?
