QUESTIONS

  • Is it legal to street perform ? I have searched street perform and busker to no avail. Do I need a special permit? Can I just go to a store, ask for the managers permission, and stand outside singing and collecting tips?
  • We live in an RV resort, own a park model. We have a business license to do yard work and have been doing well here in the park helping older people that cannot do what we do. We work on the weekends, but the park is considering prohibiting working on Sunday. Can they do this according to AZ law. They have also issued a ruling that people who work for the park cannot do side jobs in the park at all, even on their own time and with their own equipment. Is this legal?
  • If I worked at a company for 2 years and they say they lost my file is it mandatory that I fill out another job application
  • ive been working as a delivery driver for the same company for 6 yrs. now. is it true that they have to give me 2 weeks paid vacation by law? they currently only give me 7 days.
  • Question-once a work schedule of an employee has been posted can the employer make changes to the schedule w/o consulting the employee, and if employee can not accommodate the change can the employer retaliate with disciplinary action.
  • What if a customer is not willing to provide reasonable accommodations for an illness or disability? Who can you contact?
  • I work for a car dealership and the store I work in the General Manager will take away our days off if we have a off site sale that week so we are forced to work 8am-8pm all week with no days off. is this legal? also can he take a day off away from us if we sell less than a certain amount of cars in a month? what is the law about days off?
  • Can my current employer require me to sign a certification which prohibits me from holding and using my real estate license or appraiser's license. I was hired in the Real Estate Owned dept of a bank and this was not a requirement as a condition of employment originally but now they want this certification signed, can they terminate my employment if I refuse to sign the certification?
  • If I have accrued sick time and I am having to take off the rest of my work day due to my illness. Is my job able to deny that time?
  • Is being dyslectic considered to be a form of disability that an employer can help with by providing standards to follow rather than every employee doing the same jobs but calling each process different at will. It’s very confusing to me being a dyslectic. This company is very adamant about not providing standards as not to hamper individual creativity. I believe there should be some sort of middle ground that will help me quite a bit. I’ve been trying to make some changes without revealing my disability but in doing so, it appears I am, and am considered not so smart. I’m not sure what I should do. I’m feeling the pressure of some that I not so good at what I do and that’s not true. My job title is a Structural Designer II
