Health-e-Arizona is an on-line application for Arizona residents.  You can apply for medical coverage, Nutrition Assistance (Food Stamps), and cash assistance.  You can use Health-e-Arizona even if you have applied before or are currently receiving benefits.

  • Does AHCCCS only pay for Breast Cancer treatment in designated clinics and hospitals. I was reading the article in the Wall Street Joural about the woman who was caught up in the health care system. I want to know if a person making $15,000 a year with no insurance would be turned down for help if she applied to our AHCCCS.
  • My husband is going to prison, we have a three year old and one more on the way. He is our sole income provider, will I be able to get any kind of income support while he is gone??
  • What if Medicaid continually refuses to diagnose a medical condition that Medicare covers? Should Medicaid follow Medicare LCD's? I have Medicare FFS and Medicaid.

  • Was told by my interviewer that I must present all of my family's birth certificates so that DES may "stamp" them. She said this was a law as of April 2006, however, the first time I applied, they did not say this, nor did they "stamp" our birth certificates. I'd like to know where I can find this law, and will I be turned down for food stamps and AHCCCS if I don't let DES stamp our birth certificates?
