My ex husband has now been incarcerated for the past 5 years. He has charges of domestic violence and aggravated domestic violence against me which happened in front of the kids. I currently have sole custody and he has not seen or spoken to the kids in at least 4 years. I would like to terminate his parental rights, is this a possibility?

My landlord is refusing to accept my rent payment. Her "agents" (son and Daughter in Law) have given me until the end of the month to move by verbal notice and are indicating they intend to "lock me out" on th 1st of March. They have altered the rental agreement but not in writing. What remedy might I have should I come home to find the locks changed? I have reviewed the LTA and do not see anything regarding refusing to accept the rent payment. I am aware that written notice to vacate must be given. I am not refusing or unable to pay the rent as required.

When I had the baby I didn’t know it was illegal for the boyfriend to sign the birth certificate and not put my husbands name until a friend told me. So what do I do to fix it without getting in trouble? Like I said I had no idea as this was my first child.

I got married to someone incarcerated in 2005, at the time I didn't know he had a life sentence. I soon heard that a marriage was not legal if someone had a life sentence or had to be consummated. In AZ there are no conjugal visits allowed. I was not ok with some things he was doing and I asked for a divorce in 2007 and stopped all contact. We do not have anything in common and want to know if I file for annulment or divorce and how to go about that, I would like to be divorced and get my maiden name restored. He stated that he will not give me a divorce or sign papers.
