My tub had a crack in it and was reported in or around 4/21. The main bathroom was demolished wall and floor exposed... it is now 7/30 and we have not had a place to shower or take a bath...many excuses about maintenance man calling off work or having other jobs to do. We now have roaches because of exposed bathroom floor and cool air is escaping making my bill higher than it should be...I was threatened with eviction if I didn’t pay rent.. please help I don’t really no the laws..5 day 10 day 21 day notices.

I made a huge mistake by cosigning on a car loan for a girlfriend back on 09/15/08. She only made 9 payments on the vehicle then let it go back to the bank. It’s been almost 6-1/2 years since she made her last payment and now they’re coming after me, after all these years have gone by. I was told that Arizona Statute of Limitations A.R.S. § 47-2725 is four (4) years for auto loans. But their attorney is ignoring that and coming after me regardless. It's now October 2015 and they are coming after me for the loan amount + interest totaling $13,000 altogether. I'm retired and living solely on Social Security of $1,776 per month and two small pensions totaling $624 which = $2,400 per month. And I'm living with my daughter to make ends meet. Therefore I can't afford to pay theses people. I had an initial pre-trial conference on 10/8/15 and represented myself because I can’t afford an attorney. It was determined that there will be a trial on 12/14/15. I told the loan company in court “that I have no money and living on $2,400 per month and living with my daughter to make ends meet, and they’re still pursuing the trial date. My questions are: 1) Will the Arizona Statute of Limitations A.R.S. § 47-2725 four (4) years get me out of this mess completely? 2) I've been told and read online that Social Security income and Pensions “cannot be garnished”. Do you know if this is true? If it's true then I have nothing to worry about and won't need to file bankruptcy. 3) If I lose my case can I file bankruptcy on a judgement that's been awarded against me? 4) Can they levy / garnish my checking account where my Social Security checks and Pension checks are electronically deposited? My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!

My boyfriend and I and out 8 year old son are currently renting a house from my boyfriends grandmother. We moved in to the house in may. There was never a written rental agreement but we are paying her cash every month for rent. We have all the utilities in our name, and our mail comes here. Long story short she came to our house, stole our dog and we had her arrested. She is now threatening to evict us (we are looking to move anyways now) but wants us out asap. We have been here been in the house 8 months. Would she have to go through the courts for eviction?

we have a mold problem from the managers meintenance man doing cheap labor causing mass flooding in the walls. she claims after multiple times thebproblem is fixed. the watee is also making us sick. my other half lives here and is pregnant. we also have a 3 year old. the manager claims there is no mold, but i have 2 samples of black and all sorts of colors. i want to get out of here but the manager threated to bill us 3 thousand for damages thats by her hands not ours... and i gave her many chances to fix the problem and it never gets fixed, she only covers up her tracks. what can i do?
