My son is abt to be 4 years old. He has my last name because while I was pregnant his father was abusive physical & emotionally hurting me , he was also abusing drugs and dealing drugs . He was putting too much stress on me I wanted him as far away from me as possible it wasn't good for my pregnancy . When I had my son only my last name was given . His dad & I try working it out but throught out time he was still being abusive , doing drugs getting d.u.i going to jail . Cheating on me I had enough . I met a wonderful man that I fell in love with as soon as I moved on my sons father broke into my apartment & vandalized 3000 worth of my things .. I don't get a penny from the guy . Now he has a black on blank Benz . He has a Bently he has a monster truck . He has a motor cycle hardly Davidson & dune buggy while I'm struggling with my son to get by . My boyfriend was supporting us him & I are no longer together . How can I get child support from the guy without him getting any legal right

I am moving to escape emotional abuse to Tennessee with other relatives.My car my parents gave me has their name on it.When I leave can they press charges for theft? I turn 18 in March.

We've been renting our house for 5 years and our AC/Heat bills have always been high. We just found out that the garage that our landlord converted into a bedroom has no insulation. Does this room legally need to be insulated? And if so, is he responsible to refund us a portion for the unusually high bills?

I just found out I have a 2 year old daughter with an friend of mine. She as with another guy at he time, so she just let him believe he was the father through the pregnancy. So he's on the birth certificate, she has his last name. When I found out about her, the mother was all about finding out I'm the biological father and helping me get my parental right to her. From everything he mother has told me about these past 2 years, the father always denied her being his to anyone they would meet. What can I do?

Currently pregnant- father wanted nothing but an abortion. Time has passed and he wants a DNA test. If the child is his can I petition to terminate his rights? I have proof of him wanting an abortion. I do not want child support or nothing- solely for him to not be involved since that is what he decided since the beginning.

I am divorced and we have 50/50 custody. However my ex-wife was sexually abused by her father. We currently have it in our parenting plan that he is never to be alone with them. I feel they should never sleep under the same roof as him. My Ex wife thinks it is ok and contually takes the children to his house and spends the night there with them. There have never been any legal actions taken against the abusive father/grandfather. However should I take it further?
