I have a court order of no contact with my ex girlfriend but she is living in my house not paying any bills nor is she on the lease, but i cannot return home because i have to stay away from her. What can be done? I sent a letter to the courts ask for an amendment also with a letter from the landlord telling me to get her out of the house because she is not on the lease or i will be evicted. But again i cant go home to . Basically she can just staywith free rent eating grapes with legs kicked up.

I informed my landlord that there were several things that needed to be fixed (the dishwasher and the toilet) She never responded to my requests. I waited several days. I then informed her that I would have these items fixed and that I would provide her with receipts of the work done and deduct it from my rent. Again, she did not respond. Now she is seeking late fees for the amount that I deducted from my rent. In addition, the roof has leaked for the last year and after numerous requests has not been fixed to my knowledge. Can she do this and can I break m y Lease?

I finished my contract to my previous apartments even thought it was vacant for few months. I still paid them. And i called the electric to transfer all my bills from my previous address to the new address so they did. And i did paid it. Then few weeks i have received a letter from them that they paid the electric from my unit. So they were asking me to pay them. So i called electric company to ask if it's really my bill becuase i paid my bill the date that i left and asked for disconnection. I don't know why the apartments are charging me for the bill that wasn't mine.Pls help need an answer

I share a deed with right of survivorship with my adult child. She married and moved to another home. She and her new husband want to buy a new home with space for me to live and will deed my amount on current deed to a new deed with survivorship rights for my adult child. My ex and I have joint custody and a set schedule. I’m paying child support and I have back pay. Now that our child will be going to school we both have decided that it’s in our child’s best interest if the schedule changes one week off and on. I would like to know If there’s something I can file to terminate child support but continue to pay backpay only?

My grandfather passed away 3years ago. his stepson had a quit claim deed signed with my grandfathers signature the same day he died, my grandfather suffered from alzheimers & dementia. there was no will found. But i'm wondering is there anything that can be done he obviously forged my grandfather's signature to keep his property.

I live in a mobile home park in a travel trailer that has not had hot water for over a year. In Oct. 2015 I sent the manager/landlord a letter regarding his diminution of services and to reimburse me for when he was not compliant. The remedy was for $1100.00 or 2 months rent. Now I find out that Travel Trailers are illegal to rent. I have had many problems with this place, including electric bills that vary from $50 to $100 diff each month. I need to know my rights so I can stop these people from taking advantage of me. My rent is $539.00 a month with no regular plumbing, water is on hose.

If there is a conflict of dates, Father's schedule shall have preference in odd years and Mother's schedule shall have preference in even years. I am assuming this means he can only take the children on vacation during summer months or school break longer than 4 days. .... and the Consent Decree of Dissolution of Non-Covenant Marriage With Minor Children states the following: Custody and Parenting Time ... h.Vacation. Each parent shall be entitled to one additional week of vacation with the children in each year. Each parent shall provide the other with 60 days notice of their proposed dates for vacation. If there is a conflict of dates, Father's schedule shall have preference in odd years and Mother's schedule shall have preference in even years. This document does not state anything about school. Which document prevails?

My mother recently passed away while on hospice care. I did not have pre-arrangements made. Hospice offered to arrange services with the least expensive local funeral home. Since this is hospice' area of expertise, I agreed. This funeral home charged nearly twice what the other two businesses in the area charge. This company also was not the coroner designated on call mortuary for this particular month? I feel this is a scam, what can I do?
