  • The lease for my apartment ended on the 31st of the month. The office assistance told me to turn in my key on the 1st before 5pm. I did as told when I turned in the key on 1st at 3pm they said i will be charged for additional month’s rent due to the extra day i stayed in the apartment not charged for the one day but charged a whole extra $699 rent. They implied that i should have turned the key in the drop box before the office opened and were “sorry” for mis-communication. They directly told me the 1st before 5pm.
  • I'm wondering if a Grandparent can get guardianship of a Grandchild through the courts alone? Can the Grandparent get court papers and have the Parent sign them without the Parent going to court also?Doesn't the Grandparent and Parent need to be involved in the court process?

  • I've rented a home that has 3 bedrooms, when inspecting the house the a.c. was not on so I was not aware that one of the bedrooms has little airflow. A.c. guy said ductwork need to be done. This a 6month old child's room. Landlord said it's too expensive to do the duct work. What are my rights about this? Can I be refunded my last 2 months rent because the do not want to do the duct work?

This trailer is on my property and the homeless man has since been fired by my brother and I gave him an eviction notice and he has not made any attempt to move out. He built a shed on my property without permission using stolen material from my brothers construction company. How do I get him off my property? There was no written lease only a verbal agreement. I don't know what to do?

  • Since July we have had a scorpion problem. We have continuously notified the office by letter each time we find a scorpion, we have even brought some into the office. The manager agreed to let us break our lease without payment on our behalf with a 30 day notice. 5 days after the agreement was made that manager had been let go and a new manager took over who had no idea about the agreement. Now they are saying the old manager did not take the proper steps to let us break our lease and refuses now to let us leave. We have 3 children under 8,I am pregnant and my husband was stung. What now?
