In March 2009 the deceased in probate case obtained $1000.00 and signed Promissory Note with a Deed of Trust on property he owned. He last payment made was in March 2012. He dies in August 2014 with Note and DOT still on property. Owner of the Prom Note and DOT was notified thru informal probate to file a claim but never did. I have filed the Deed of Distribution. So what do I do about this Prom Note and DOT ? And how does this affect the filing of closing statement for probate case?

I’ve lived in a trailer park for over 20 years and purchased my trailer from the park which I own free and clear. I’m very low income and now my landlord hit me with an eviction notice. I have no money to move my trailer and no money for a deposit on another trailer. Can he just kick me out of my house for no reason and take my trailer from me? Please help

I was told I had to pay a "holding deposit" of $600 & sign a lease for a property that I needed to rent but was unable to do a walk thru in because the existing tenants were still occupying the property. I was told I could cancel at any time prior to my move in date 8/5/13; I cancelled on 7/20/13 & am being told I will not get any of my deposit back. What can I do?

I am at the tail end of a very bitter divorce. I purchased my home prior to marriage; I am the only person listed on the title and mortgage. My ex-wife was granted temporary exclusive use and possession of the home during the divorce process. The divorce is now finalized. The decree clearly states the home is mine. There is nothing in the decree that states she has X number of days to vacate the residence, and she refuses to leave. What is the process to get her out of my house and how long can I expect it to take?

I have a land contract on a mobile home but do not have the title. The current is in serious default (10 months). Do I foreclose, get a judgement on the loan or get lien? Is this something I can do or do I really need and attorney? If it matters the amount due is about $11,500. Thanks!
