my daughter is on dialysis and I have filled out an fmla @ work in case I have to take time off to care for her. They are wanting to change my hours which will conflict with my daughters dialsis. I don't go with her but I do care for her daughter so she may have her treatments as well as preparing dinner for both of them because she is too tired when she gets home. my question is will the fmla protect me against them changing my hours so I can continue providing care for my grandaughter so my daughter can get the treatments she needs

I am considering applying to receive child support with NO visitations. My sons father often changes his contact information without informing me. He makes plans to see his son, then disappears for long periods of time. I have never denied visitations, but still he has not seen his son in 25 months and has not provided any financial assistance whatsoever. The list goes on, but in short his father is not emotionally invested and I worry that this will be emotionally and morally damaging to my son. Is this the kind of case where no visitations would be granted?

We signed a 4 month lease at an RV Storage facility to rent a 60' space for our 20' trailer, because we were told only 60' spaces were available. After parking the trailer in the assigned space we discovered it is not 60' but 40', which rents for $75 per month. The facility continues to insist it's a 60' space, refuses to measure it & refuses to change our rental rate to $75. They only offer to move us to "another" 60' space as a solution. Is it legal for them to overcharge us like this? What recourse do we have? We suspect they're doing this to others. Isn't this fraud? What rights do we have

I have been paying $20 a month since May 2006 on a credit card debt. I was taken to court and agrred to pay this much until my debt was paid. I believe I had around $1665 to pay. I have made every payment but in Dec of 2010 the collection agency stopped cashing my checks. I have called several times and was told my account is closed. They will not tell me how much I owe or where I should send a payment to. After calling several times they hang up on me or put me on hold forever. What should I do? I've been paying for 5 years.
