  • I had moved out of my house a year ago from my husband. I did not have the money to file for divorce until last week. As of the first of the year 2013 I have had a boyfriend and now my soon to be x is threatening me with adultery. Is this adultery if we have been separated for over a year?
  • I was born in CA and started using my step-father's last name at approx. 8 years old. I never legally changed my last name but my military records, ssn, etc. all use my step-father's last name which I've used throughout my life. I'm now a resident of AZ. Can I legally change my name here to the name I'm already using for all forms of ID/records? I just want to ensure my birth cert matches all my other forms of ID. Thanks

  • My landlord sent me a lease renewal notice that indicated the rent would go up. We had a verbal agreement last summer when I renewed that my rent would stay the same. When I told my landlord that I planned to renew but asked if my rent would stay the same, she sent me a non renewal notice for my lease. Does this qualify as retaliation?

  • What is the Arizona statute of limitations for a car loan on a repossessed car? 4 years or 6 years? When does it start running? After the first missed payment, or after the car gets auctioned off? Some people say the S.O.L. is 4 years because it is a car loan, and falls under this law: "47-2725. Statute of limitations in contracts for sale A. An action for breach of any contract for sale must be commenced within four years after the cause of action has accrued." Others say it is a written contract and therefore is subject to the standard 6 year S.O.L. Which one is correct?
