I belong to a Property Owner's Association. The manager and the original Developer states we do not follow ARS Title 33 because the Association is a non-profit corp. and does not own property. We are all mandated members that must pay dues to maintain the roads that are dedicated to public use. We have bylaws, CC&R's. Is this true? The developer is getting properties back thru foreclosures and says he does not owe dues and is using his 10-1 votes from the foreclosures. Our CC&Rs say that if the first mortgagee gets property back they are not liable for past dues, but from acquisition. Help?

I gave my roommate his written thirty day notice on July 1st. He barely has packed anything and I have a feeling he isn't going to be gone by the 31st. If he has not left the premises by the 31st legally what can I do? My husband and I own the house and he was living with us, just to give you some background. I'm stressing so bad, I don't want a confrontation but it might come to that. The paper he signed was a form we got online and it's not notarized or anything. Would that matter? Thank you.

I got a equity loan for 30,000 on may 2007. On march 2009 got laid off my home was in foreclosure status. I became disabaled and filed in 2010. During which time my account was given to a lawfirm for collection. Well in 2011 I received my disability and soon after received a new agreement on my home from chase bank to refinance which we did. After this the lawfirm kept at me about owing on this account and they garnished my wifes checks and now shes not able to work their taking us to court come to find out this is my mortgage acct. and me and chase agreed on a new contract back in 2011.

When my daughter turns 18 next October, I know she will no longer get child support. She will still be high school till May 2019 and is disabled. My question is she has back child support and I don’t care if she doesn’t get any of it. I just want to know if there is a hearing I would have to go to when she turns 18? If there is, could I hire a lawyer to go to the hearing for me? My daughter’s father was abusive and I don’t want to see him at court. Thanks.
