QUESTIONS

  • What is a living will?
  • Can one ask for a court-appointed attorney when charged with DUI, and how would one do that, if so?
  • MANY TIMES AT WORK EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THEY CANNOT SPEAK IN THEIR PRIMARY LANGUAGE, MOSTLY ARE SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE, IS THERE A LAW THAT APPLIES TO THIS WHERE THE EMPLOYER CAN ORDER HIS EMPLOYEES NOT TO SPEAK IN SPANISH OR ANY OTHER LANGUAGE THAT THEY SPEAK??....
  • Hello, I signed an employment contract stating I would give a 30 day notice or agree to forfeit any unpaid compensation. In this case it would be 2 weeks plus 14 hours. Since I resigned I have been antagonized to the point where I left after only 15 days post resignation notification. Are the employers permitted to withhold my salary under these circumstances?
  • I was arrested at a friends mobile home on a misdemeanor warrant. I went without a hassle or drama. The charge was disorderly conduct. I was out in 14 days, went back to the park where coincidentally i do not live, was told there was no problem with me being there. The kicker is that my friends, a couple of about 70 years old are now getting evicted because of it. Im beside myself. It is not right. Id willingly have them ban me from the park if my friends would not get evicted. Is there no hope for them ?
  •  6 days ago my daughter was removed from my care, no complaint of abuse or neglect of any kind was made. She was removed from my care due to the fact that I have a diagnosis of PTSD. Once I was diagnose with that I enrolled in counseling. I have been doing that for 7 months now every week. My psychiatrist and therapist both state that I am not a danger to myself or to my child however CPS claims that she cant in my custody. No legal action has been taken, nor have their been any court orders, but they claim that I can only be with her under supervision and cannot spend the night with her.
  • My a/c has gone out 6 times in the past 2 months. Maint. Comes and "fixes" it but the same problem keeps happening. What can I do legally to get it fixed/replaced?
  • If a parent is in the military and their legal state of residence is Arizona, and so was the spouses and children at time of filing, wouldn't that give Arizona jurisdiction for child custody? Even if neither person had lived in Arizona for the past 11 yrs? Parent filing at the time was stationed overseas, but has since moved back to the states. The other parent (who has the children) resides in Kentucky, but at the time was not a legal resident of Kentucky.
  • Who decides the division of the assets and debts? Persons of the marriage or their attorneys?
  • This is a plea for my best friend. She is desperate need of legal help. She has shared custody of her 7 year old daughter with the father of the daughter and his wife. Her ex and his wife have harassed her, have bullied her by coming to her work and causing a scene, that resulted in the police getting called. They have given consent for the daughter to have surgery without the consent of my friend (the girls mom) or even telling her that she was going to have surgery. My friend found out after the surgery was done and the girls face was swollen and purple.
