  • Hello, once a divorce judgement is entered, what documents need to be filed with the court in order to split a pension? The marriage was for 45 years.
  • I am retired military and was retired medically in 2013. I was active duty 91-94 and national guard time the remainder of the time. I was injured in combat in 2007 and later received an active medical retirement. I do receive some of my compensation from va with the remainder coming from DOD. My spouse who i married in 1999 is wanting my military retirement but it seems im the one with medical issues for life and just doesnt seem to be right. I havent found anything specific to medical retirements and am looking for guidance. Thank you
  • We just received a notice of auction for a property we are renting. Per this letter, the landlord was behind on the mortgage prior to us signing the lease, which we were not aware of. He has no intention of keeping the house and we have another 6 months to our lease. Do we have any rights to with hold rent considering he intentionally scammed us into renting when he had no intentions of using our money to pay the rent and was already behind?

  • Hello... I live in an apartment, last week my car was stolen and so were my license plates. The following day, the manager called and had my vehicle towed, I called the office and explained my situation and asked if there was any way they could help me as I am a single mother and live on ssd, they said there is nothing we can do, you are going to have to pay to get your car out, also adding it is in my lease that vehicles cannot be parked with no tags and I should have called them and told them my tags were stolen. Can I force them to pay the fees if I have police report?
  • I live in a apartment under my moms name and she is getting help. From a government program to pay her rent. On the lease she agreed if anything we're to happen to her like if she dies i have x amount of days to move out. Well yesterday the manager said i will have 5 days After her death to move out. She is now on hospice and can go any day. I have no where to go. Can i still stay here legally for 3 months like any other eveiction??
