  • Purchased 2 timeshares in late 90's, which worked well for family at the time and both are paid off in full and current with fees. Life changes, health changes, it no longer works. Have researched to find possible resolution to cancel/terminate contract and have found nothing but SCAMS! Granted, it wasn't the brightest idea to purchase but let's claim it a "lesson learned". I now am trying to educate myself on the law and it's been pretty difficult finding answers and people I can trust or those who do "timeshares". Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do I have any recourse for the seller to be responsible for all or part of this special assessment since it was not disclosed on the statements provided to me?
  • What can I do if I feel my 9 year old is not being properly cared for in the other parent's home that I currently share joint custody with? For example, most recently the other parent left our child at a nearby apartment complex pool with another 9 year old completely alone and unsupervised or accompanied by any other adult (the kids were the only ones there) for over an hour while the other parent allegedly walked to a gas station to purchase alcohol. My child also complains that the other parent is using drugs in front of him. Is this considered neglect and what are my options?

My children's father is suppose to pay childcare costs and now refusing because he says the word discretionary means its up to him to decide. Is that right?   • we were approved for a car loan by a local bank. Explained that the vehicle was in our home state and that we knew the owner. Personal banker explained this on the phone. And then the bank changed its mind and said to buy a vehicle in Az. Needless to say as seniors with good credit we were very upset. Filed a complaint withCFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). Told we could hire an attorney but am finding difficulty. Don't know what kind of attorney or if we have a case.
