  • I was hired by a company. I was hired to be a Financial Assistant. At first I thought that this company was real, because they had me sign an employment agreement and gave me a confirmation saying that I was hired. What this company did was deposit large amounts of money into my personal acct, then they wanted me to withdraw the money and have it transferred to other people in Russia by using a funds transfer service. My bank froze my bank acct because it would be under investigation because they did not know were this money was coming from.
  • My husband & I are legal guardians to a non relative child age 15. We have had him since he was 7. Mother's location not known. Father never in picture. We would like to transfer guardianship to our son & his wife. How do we proceed with this? The child was a ward of the state and we do receive cash assistance, health benefits and free lunch at his school and would like that transferred to our son as well. We do not want to incur any legal costs. Thank you.

  • The house we are leasing has a converted garage that we were told is used as an office for the LL and he occasionally stays overnight when necessary. Although there is no mention of sharing the property in the lease, there is a small statement that the LL will pay $60 toward monthly rent for electricity. Isnt he liable for a share of all the utilities?Also, much if his behavior feels intrusive. What rights do we have re: Quiet Enjoyment?

  • My landlord is refusing to accept my rent payment. Her "agents" (son and Daughter in Law) have given me until the end of the month to move by verbal notice and are indicating they intend to "lock me out" on th 1st of March. They have altered the rental agreement but not in writing. What remedy might I have should I come home to find the locks changed? I have reviewed the LTA and do not see anything regarding refusing to accept the rent payment. I am aware that written notice to vacate must be given. I am not refusing or unable to pay the rent as required.
  • I bought land in September from Mortgage. There is a mobile home on the land. We didnt buy this home only the land. So we talk to the lady give her an eviction notice to move the house from our property in 30 days. She leaves the home and the home is still on our property. So we take her to court to move the home. She doesn't come. So the judge rendered on our favor. Does that give me the okay to sell?
  • I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?
