  • My husband is 80 and showing signs of dementia. He will want to live out his years in Arizona as a resident. He has about $770.000 in resources. I do not plan to be a resident as I have family elsewhere and allergies here, unfortunately. Also, I am 68 and have about $200.000 in resources. Will my resources be tapped if my husband outlives what he has set aside, even if I am not a resident?

  • i have a roommate. i own my trailer and let her rent a room from me. i just found out she has been stealing from me. no agreements or lease was signed. she paid this months rent but im using it to pay for a plumber i had to get because she broke my toilet. she says she wont leave until i give her half the rent back. do i have to give it to her? can i just make her leave since there is no lease or agreements signed?
  • I live in a condo and I rent from a management company. I was given a visitors pass for when I would have guests over. Recently there has been parking violations on my fiance's car and said it will be towed. I have nothing in my rental lease that states that I can not let guests park at my place of residence. would this warrant me to break my lease and not lose my deposit? I can not have any guests? or the car will be towed?

Can the Landlord force tenant to use this service and pay for it in addition to the trash collection service (there will be still dumpsters where tenants can take the trash)
  • My husband and I rented a very small 3 bed room house. Very basic but perfect for us. We’ve had some health issues so our adult grandson has been living with us for about a month. I contacted the owner. He’s raised our rent to 1100 a month. Homes for rent in this area are renting for 800.00 a month. This home was built in the early 70s and is very small under 1000 sq foot. Newer nicer homes are renting for 1100 a month. Much nicer and updated homes. We have never been late on rent and he has raised our rent every year but homes in this older but nice neighborhood are not near worth 1100 ???
  • I have owned a mobile home (and leased a space)in a 55+ park for 12 yrs. New owner has converted the park into a noisy " RV " park , allowing noisy off-road vehicles to screech up and down the streets where the residents live. The noise is unnerving, invasive and violates any concept of 'quiet enjoyment ' .The owners refuse to do anything about it. Residents have invested much for their mobile homes in this park . Can the landlord be compelled to cease allowing noisy off-road vehicular traffic in the park to ensure peace and quiet for the residents??

  • I was granted a divorce from my husband in January of this year. He was to pay me a certain amount of cash by February and hasn't and was to place the house up for sale and didnt. The house has gone into foreclosure. All this was stated in the papers. Doesn't he have to pay?
  • Our landlords sent us an email stating that we have to pay for professional cleaning or they will take $450 from our security deposit. From the research I have done, I understand that this is illegal and we are only obligated to deep clean it and leave it in the same condition as when we moved in. Do we have to professionally clean or not?
