  • My daughter and her son have lived with me and my husband since my grandson was born. the father of the baby left when he was 3 months old and moved back to his home state of KY. He did sign the birth certificate and my daughter is going for child support through the state, but the father does not call, visit or show any interest in my grandson. My question is, what would happen if my daughter became ill or passed away- by law does my grandson have to move to KY to live with a biological father he has never known or is there something I can do now for reassurance this baby won't be taken.

  • 2 years ago the VA did a full hip replacement on me. Less than 2 years later, I had to have a non VA doctor redo my hip. Dr advised that the hip that the VA put in was recalled and also that the VA Doctor did not put my hip in correctly. As a result I am now on full Social Security Disability. I am trying to find out how to pursue a case against the VA for malpractice and inadequate care after my surgery. I have had no luck so far speaking to VA advocates etc. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I am trying to move to Nevada where I will have more help from my older children's father and be able to be on bedrest like I'm supposed to. Would I be able to file a petition for relocation with a minor, and temporarily move before the 60 days, without getting in trouble for it. And will it effect how they decide custody. Also, I have a PO against the other parent, and there has been domestic violence toward me and the children during our marriage.

  • Re: an increase in monthly maintenance fees in a housing CO-OP (not apt, not condo). QUESTION: Is there a percentage maximum that the monthly fees may be raised? Our by-laws say it is 20% without resident/member/owner approval, but some owner-members say it is only 5% by AZ law. (That sounds like tenant/landlord law which shouldn't apply.) Thanks for the help.
