My son and both jail, the maternal grandmother was given custody of their two children by CPS. do I as the paternal grandmother have the right to file for custody? if so, what are my chances of getting custody?

My ex-wife and I were divorced in 2010 and our dissolution documents were very vague concerning my military retirement. It states that "each of the parties shall be awarded, a division of their respective share of military retirement accumulated between the date of marriage and date of separation." Since there was no percentage or amount specified, she is now trying to file a new Domestic relations Order in order for me to give her a portion of my retirement. What can I do in order to make sure it is divided equitable and fair, so I do not get steamrolled in this matter?

So at my apartments I pay my own srp bill And this month I received a second bill from the apartments saying I need to pay extra for power that they use in the clubhouse and pool area. Is that legal???

I live in a apartment complex. I have been here for about 5 years. I had moved to a bigger unit about 4 years ago . recently moved to another bigger unit in April. So it was brought to my attention that on the last unit I moved from carpet had to be replaced so I owe $430... and now they are stating that I also owe from the previous unit I had moved from 3 years ago. I hadn't of heard about this balance before. Can they do this? what can I do about it?

Is there a law or work on a law regarding couples involved in domestic violence requiring them to seek counseling separately. Or, more specifically, if doing counseling with a couple when domestic violence is apparent, are therapists then required to refer to separate therapists for the individuals of the couple?

I have rented this home for 7 months and during that entire time this house has had sewer cockroaches. Landlord has tried everything but they are still everywhere, especially in the kitchen, on counter tops, stove, cabinets and many other places.I want to break lease based on these conditions. Is this possible? Sewer roaches (American) carry numerous germs that can affect humans and pet health via diseases. What are my rights based on this situation? Can you please help me?

Does an email exchange between landlord and tenant constitute an agreement to extend a lease or does there have to be a new lease signed for the additional time to be valid, or if no new lease then is it considered month to month?

My husband and I own our property and are building a house. We live in an r v on property in the meantime. A person who wants our property is calling in complaints to the county and now we are being evicted we also have to take all buildings down and have everything removed or they will charge us 2250 a day until it's cleared. Is that legal we can't afford to leave and have no place to go.
