  • I paid partial rent on space in park by money order. Landlord accepted it and now served me with eviction notice. Now they say they never got money order. Do I have recourse? Can they evict me after I paid most of the rent? I own my trailer and they want me to abandon it so they can steal it. It is my only home. No place to to. What can I do???

  • In March 2009 the deceased in probate case obtained $1000.00 and signed Promissory Note with a Deed of Trust on property he owned. He last payment made was in March 2012. He dies in August 2014 with Note and DOT still on property. Owner of the Prom Note and DOT was notified thru informal probate to file a claim but never did. I have filed the Deed of Distribution. So what do I do about this Prom Note and DOT ? And how does this affect the filing of closing statement for probate case?

  • I paid my deposit to my landlord with 2 money orders. I have receipts from the landlord for both of them. The landlord "lost" one of the money orders. They are now asking me to pay them again for the lost one and for me to file the paperwork myself to see if I can get the money back from the company who issued the original money order. I feel that once it left my possession and they gave me a receipt that it is their responsibility. Can they penalize me for their mistake?
