My son was terminated from his job for "reporting late to work". He was never given any verbal warning about the possibility of being fired until the day it happened. There were other workers at his place of employment who had, in the past, not shown up for work at all without even calling the employer and are still employed. In you oppinion is he eligible for unemployment compensation?

Our landlord informed us this morning that her realtor lost his license and asked that my husband put in writing that we'll move out asap. She seems a little off and the whole process to get into this home was janky to begin with, it wasn't done properly to say the least. But my question is does she have the right to kick us out before our lease is up? We're never late on rent and we have had 0 issues. Now we're forced into this mess because of the ''family friend'' she had hired as her realtor... is any of this legal?

My husband and I are in a covenant marriage and we both agree we want to divorce (. From what I've read this is allowed by the court without stipulation. Which form does the courts need to pursue this? We have both search extensively and short of hiring lawyers (which neither of us want to do) we are unable to find this information out. Please help! (there are no children and no argument regarding property)

My stepson just passed away at the age of 33. He had sole legal and physical custody of his children, ages 4 and 5. He was never married and the mother of the children has only supervised visits at his discretion. She is currently involved with DCS and has been for almost 3 years. We have filed for permanent custody. Because my husband had sole custody would he have had automatic custody of the kids? They have lived with us for 3 years with their father. We also had guardianship of the kids for a year before father retained sole custody
