My son's father and his girlfriend had a domestic violence incident in his home where she broke glass, furniture, and physically assaulted him. The police came. My 5 year old son was in the home at the time. I would like to get a restraining order against her for my son. I don't want my son to be exposed to that again. She has also been harrassing me via hundreds of texts, phone calls, social media messages, etc. Do I have enough to file for a restraining order against her for my son? My concern is for my son's safety.

Hello, my parents marriage is negatively evolving..it is evolving drastically. A couple of days ago my stepdad pulled a gun on my mom in front of my younger brother. My younger brother explained this event to me and older sister. He also stated that he had to intervene between my parents. I am very worried for my mother, but I do not know where to start helping legally and fast.

My Brother is a 32 combat veteran of the 5th Special forces group. He was arrested yesterday for aggravated assault. He is heavily medicated due to injuries and may be a threat to his family. His wife called me yesterday asking me to help but I do not know what I can do. Can some one offer me some advice on what, as his brother, I can do?

My son just turned 18. He should be entering his senior year in high school so the court papers say I pay child support until he is out of school or 19 years old. He quit school and was supposed to get his GED. He has not nor does it look like he ever will. “Until 19” clause was there to ensure support through high school. Since he is not enrolled, shouldn’t I be able to stop support since he is 18. I don’t support these choices made by him and his mother.

I bought my mobile home and pay rent for the lot it was already on when I bought it. There are two very tall palm trees on the property. I am being told I need to have them trimmed at quite a high cost for me, as I am a fixed income senior. They look very much like they did when I moved in but do need trimming. Neither the park agent or management mentioned this to me during the purchase process. I don't own the land nor did I plant the trees. I am required to pay the property taxes, which is also a question for me. Thank you for any help or advice

In 2003, my husband's girlfriend moved to AZ from IN. They had a daughter together born Feb. 2003. My husband has been court ordered to pay AZ courts because the mother of the child is currently receiving assistance from TANF. My husband has been told that he must get a attorney to establish visitation rights. My question is does the attorney have to practice law in AZ? We also cannot afford an attorney. What can we do?
