QUESTIONS

  • Is there a time limit(yrs,mths,etc.,)on getting a security deposit back from a prevous landlord?
  • we have not had hot water since we moved in 4 days ago. Property ignored our first complaint and then maintenance came on our second complaint and said he would get to it Monday (tomorrow). Can we move out and get our money back?
  • Last year we fell behind on our home payments. We tried to work with the lender for months, Instead they set a foreclosure date. We only owe $265,000 plus the arrears on our home which is now appraising at $422k. We were forced to file Ch. 13 in order to stop the foreclosure and save our equity. My spouse now has a high income job offer out of state. We want to rent out our home instead of selling & dismiss the BK but still owe over $18k in arrears. With our bad credit due to the BK, what are our options for getting a loan to pay the arrears? Our home will rent for $2800 and our payment is 2k.

  • I have a court trial coming up. I recently put some subpoenas in 7 to be exact, and with in 16 hours had the courts call me to have pre-trial hearing in judges chambers, concerning subpoenas. I've never heard of this and was wondering what I should expect, how to carry myself, etc... Thanks
  • Ok thank you for this opportunity to ask a question. To add a parking spot covered that is a extra $15 or so a month. Can the landlord demand a new lease with the parking option? We don't want to start a whole new lease and that shouldn't be allowed it doesn't seem fair. The spots are always available they are not a high demand option
