  • My downstairs rental had water damage caused by the upstairs empty rental where the water was not turned off. Parts of the ceiling and walls had to be removed and a restoration team had to dry the wall. Being a home worker and this a very small place, I found a temporary rental. This happened mid-month, I was out for 2 weeks and now I am being asked to pay full rent on the first under the reason that I choose to be out. • I'm looking for some guidance regarding the AZ Real Estate Recovery Fund. I submitted a claim against the fund some time ago but it was denied for multiple reasons, all of which were inaccurate. I'd like some advice from somebody with experience with getting reimbursement from the fund. The basis of my claim is the fact that my property manager embezzled security deposits and when his scam ran its course, he committed suicide. The fund is clearly setup to help those who have been a victim of real estate fraud, but the commissioner weaseled her way out of my claim on technicalities.
  • Where can I find a court approved parenting class?
  • I filled an application and put $200 down for a deposit. I told the complex I wanted to move in. I was involved in a car accident and I received a call the next day saying I had to be in the office by 6pm to sign a lease. I asked if I could come in the following day. The complex told me no. I asked for my deposit back. Initially the complex stated they would give me a refund. But a few days later the apartment manager noted I was not going to receive a refund. I have not heard from the complex and I would like my $200 back. Is there anything I can do?
