I recently received a notice from a collection agency stating that I owe $482 for services provided at the apartment complex. I was told at their main office that the charge was for the replacement of the glass stove top and paint. My lease ended on August 19th, 2013; when I went to the office to turn in the keys and schedule a moving out walk-through I was told that it wasn't necessary as no deficiencies were found in the apartment. It's been about 5 months since I moved out and not once did I receive a statement of charges. What should I do?

My mothers health has drastically changed and she only lives on social security, a very small disability bi-weekly stipend and has medicare. While my mother has been accepted for medicaid as a secondary insurance, she will have to contribute monthly of $406 so that she will be able to have full time home health care (vs only part time with medicare). I have a neighbor that is taking my picture everyday because I turn around in front of their house to go down my street because it dead-ends so there's only one way out they have threatened me called me names and state their willing to lie about things and spend thousands of dollars to prove a point. They do not want me to turn around in front of their house but it is a city street. They have threatened me with a protection order stating that I am a threat to them. Can I file a protection order against them for the verbal abuse harassment and invasion of privacy when they take my picture daily

My friend let me stay in his house and the day before yesterday he told me he sold the house a d o need to move out. How much time do I have before I have to. Vacate the primisses and if he sold the house does he have to help me financially to try and get somewhere else to stay?????
