  • My house was foreclosed on in 2008; the 2nd Mortgage was not used to purchase the home, and the 2nd Mortgagee has now sold the "note" to a collection agency. If the 2nd Mortgagee never filed or sued me on the deficiency can the collection agency pursue the collection of this debt? Who is the holder of the written contract that I had with the original lender?
  • My mother passed away. She does have a will and I was nominated as the executer and trustee. I am the sole beneficiary. She only has a bank account but when the account was setup nobody was on the account but her. no payable unpon death. What is required by the bank for me to access the account to begin paying for her expences? Her will did state that I shoud have immediate access without going through the courts.

Does he need to send us a written notice 30 days in advance that he intends to increase our rent 20% and the total amount that would make our new rent payment be? So far he has excepted the regular payment for two months passed the lease end date and now we just gave about a 50 day notice that we intend to move out.

I have no issue verifying employment through typical means but I feel a letter that is arbitrary is a bit unfair. I just want someone to show me the "required by law" part???

  • I was hired by a company. I was hired to be a Financial Assistant. At first I thought that this company was real, because they had me sign an employment agreement and gave me a confirmation saying that I was hired. What this company did was deposit large amounts of money into my personal acct, then they wanted me to withdraw the money and have it transferred to other people in Russia by using a funds transfer service. My bank froze my bank acct because it would be under investigation because they did not know were this money was coming from.
  • Can an order of protection be issued to a defendant out of state without an arrest being mad or charges being filed?
  • My slum lord actually got a judgment against my husband for non payment of rent. The judge would not allow me to show any evidence at ALL in his courtroom I had pics, and receipts of my husband fixing the leaking roof after the SLUM LORD, told us he couldn't afford to fix, and said he would cancel this months rent. He took us to court for non payment and now we're evicted, no place to go and 3 children in school, and unable to get another home in time to move. What can be done, about more time, without having to pay the rent up until 30 days? What can buy a person some time?
  • I have been married for nine yrs. I worked at a job for 28 1/2 yrs. before we were married. I received a 30 yr. pension which I still get every month like wages. If I file for divorce would she be able to steal part of my retirement pension even though we only gained 300 dollars of it while we were married,and if so could she start getting have my pension before we were divorced?
