Im 16 and pregnant.I want to be emancipated,but I feel I may need public assistance such as food stamps and cash assistance because I'm currently unemployed.I also need help finding a place because I'm getting kicked out.Can a pregnant teen become emancipated and get on food stamps and cash assistance/?And is there anyone who can legally help an emancipated pregnant teen find a place of their own?

Isnt there a law that states how much you can charge rent by square footage? I ask because its seems to be ridiculous to charge $650 for a 350 sq ft studio.

I had to call the police on my wife who was threatening violence last night. They effectively treated me like the abuser but thats another story. Now my wife is threatening to get an order of protection against me even though she was the violent one. What can I do to protect myself? And will I be able to contact my kids? I'll have to live out of my car as I know no one around here.

We gave a deposit hold to a real estate agent who said it was to keep our application in first place. In order to rent the house, they were needing 6 months rent ahead of time. She received the hold on the 16th, we submitted an incomplete application on the 17th and on the 21st she requested the remainder. On the 22 I informed her that we would not be able to provide the 6 months of prepaid rent to her as we originally thought and that otherwise we were not eligible to rent the property. She is now saying that we have no right to our hold. On the application it says deposits can be refunded

I had a court date and I was actually in emergency room getting a mental health evaluation I faxed the proof to the judge and he still put a bench warrant out for my arrest and there was no bond set I have never been known to run or not show up to court so I'm not a threat of fleeing is this legal? if what can I do
