Can you break a lease for constant theft/damage/ stolen vehicles snd covid 19 jobless? 1 attempted theft 2 damages to a car 1 break in (2 weeks ago) 1 stolen car now We have security to. I've lived in my complex for 2 years. Lease up in August and we are thinking of moving out of state. Yesterday our only car was stolen. Covid 19 already limited work but now fiance cannot find a job as we have no vehicle. When I called about asking to terminate early due to the thefts and covid 19 they said we'd essentially be paying 4 months (60 day notice and termination fees are about 2 months rent).

The father of my children had sole custody, and he committed suicide. I am wondering if I need to file for custody or if it automatically reverts to the mother. The children are with me, and have been since the incident. i have the death certificate and have filed at the social security office. I just feel funny not having anything that says I have custody. Should I file a modification or is it a waste of time?

We just rented a house was by management they were replacing the carpet. After we applied they said the owner said are replacing living room carpet and the rest which is ok but now that the has dried and the chemical smell gone is a strong scent coming from rooms. We signed lease week ago and everything with getting this house ready for move in been a battle with this management company. What are the laws about having urine soaked carpets a rental and having them replaced? There is huge health issues with having to breath in that smell. What are rights?

I have just started to get my wages garnished agian from a car loan I had with a bank five years ago. I started a new job and was getting garnished from my last employment I had gotten my total down more then half and now that they have started garnishing at my new employment the total I owe has more then doubled off my original balance in which they sued me for in the beginging, my question is just how much intrest can a bank (not a collection agency) charge on a defaulted loan that is in the process of being garnished legally? I will end up being garnished for the next 6 years at this rate.
