I'm looking for some guidance regarding the AZ Real Estate Recovery Fund. I submitted a claim against the fund some time ago but it was denied for multiple reasons, all of which were inaccurate. I'd like some advice from somebody with experience with getting reimbursement from the fund. The basis of my claim is the fact that my property manager embezzled security deposits and when his scam ran its course, he committed suicide. The fund is clearly setup to help those who have been a victim of real estate fraud, but the commissioner weaseled her way out of my claim on technicalities.

My ex-wife and I were divorced in 2010 and our dissolution documents were very vague concerning my military retirement. It states that "each of the parties shall be awarded, a division of their respective share of military retirement accumulated between the date of marriage and date of separation." Since there was no percentage or amount specified, she is now trying to file a new Domestic relations Order in order for me to give her a portion of my retirement. What can I do in order to make sure it is divided equitable and fair, so I do not get steamrolled in this matter?

I recently found out that my ex-husband (we were married at the time) was continuing to collect my unemployment benefits under my name for 5 months after I started a new job! DES is now trying to sue me for collecting unemployment! Is there any way to prove that HE was the one collecting my unemployment and NOT me (he was collecting it via the automated weekly claim over the phone)?! How can I prosecute or go after him for the money owed and not me!?

Where can I get help for my 39 year disabled daughter who has been on SSI since 2001 and last year was denied SSI, we are receiving part benefits as she is in appeal but need a lawyer to assist us on her case before we go to court in front of a judge and also help her to get her benefits back permanently. Any lawyers I have contact want a deposit and hourly wages which of course anyone on SSI couldn't possibly pay. Where can I go to get her proper representation without a huge bill?? She lives at home with me. question queue

I am a double lung transplant recipient and even though my doctor says that I cannot return to work, CIGNA looked at my hospital records and a panel cancelled my waiver for my Life Insurance premiums from my employer benefits. Can they do this? My life expectancy is short, about 5 years on average. My wife and I are on disability and they want a quarter of the premium to appeal their decisions. We are debt free don't want to acquire more debt to fight this. Can someone help?

How long is a landlord's notice of intent to enter good for? My landlord routinely gives notice of intent to enter by saying that they will be starting inspections on a certain date for the entire apartment complex, but it may take weeks for them to enter any given apartment. Is this legal behavior, or must they be more specific? It's getting annoying not knowing whether or not they came, or thinking they already have and then someone barges in weeks later.

I am wondering if it is considered fraud for an employer to claim we would be interviewed via phone by an impartial party then turn around and hire someone outside the company without ever interviewing the internal applicants?
