My brother who is mentally disabled, has come to live with me. What do I steps do I need to take to gain legal custody/guardianship of him from my mother who is willing to give me custody?

My husband died and our Grant Deed for our property shows he has a 30% tenants in common share of the home. I have 70%. He further has a will that states he leaves any properties to me. He also has a son that will not dispute this. Do I need to go to probate since his 30% value in the home is minimal (K40-45K net value). Or what form can be filed to correct the Grant deed to reflect my full ownership?

My employer told me I have to be out of work while my FMLA Paperwork is being approved. This is causing me to lose out on money, putting me in a financial bind making it harder to meet my needs. If I paid a medical office to process my FMLA paperwork with my employer (TWICE) and they missed the deadline by one day even though they were in communication with my HR department. What options do I have against either the medical office or my employer? I ultimately got denied and had to work with my doctor to get on light duty to keep an income.

What are the collection rules for credit card debt? I have a visa with a significant balance (^8K)and have just been contacted by a collection agency. I don't have the money to pay it. Can they sue me, garnish me, etc?

Is a landlord still allowed to charge you full amount of rent if needing to leave the home for more than 1/2 month to fix mold found in walls? I’ve heard that they can however they are responsible for providing you a place to live in while the repairs are being made is that true? Or can a tenant use some of the rent money to provide housing while property is being fixed if landlord refuses to pay for housing. Please help!!
