  • My slum lord actually got a judgment against my husband for non payment of rent. The judge would not allow me to show any evidence at ALL in his courtroom I had pics, and receipts of my husband fixing the leaking roof after the SLUM LORD, told us he couldn't afford to fix, and said he would cancel this months rent. He took us to court for non payment and now we're evicted, no place to go and 3 children in school, and unable to get another home in time to move. What can be done, about more time, without having to pay the rent up until 30 days? What can buy a person some time?

They told me I would just be responsible for a 60 day notice and a fine of approximately $45 for every month I received a discounted rate by signing a 13 month lease. I learned the day before the prorated rent was due, I was also responsible for a full months rent, I do not have the funds. I paid the prorated.   • This question does not exactly have to do with car accidents,though the situation arose from one.I cannot find adivse on this anywhere-A chiropracter placed a medical lein when someone rear ended me.The insurance company should have paid,chiropracter cooresponded with them 2yrs later which was past the statute of limitations and I guess just dropped it.This was 2002.The lein now sits at the county recorder and cannot be revoked unless by the Dr. who no longer practices.This is now interfering with my house buying process.I have called everywhere and get nothing but brick walls.Please help
