QUESTIONS

  • I've owned my trailer since January 2013. I've had my male dog for over 2 years now and have had no problems until about 3 months ago when our most recent manager told me I have to put up a fence cause my dog is "agressive" when she gets to walk through not around my yard to check my meter. My dog isn't always out on the leash just when he has to go to the bathroom or I'm gonna be gone for a bit. By law can she make me put up a fence after 2 years of not having any problems.
  • I purchased a condo and garage in May 2015. Then went back to Oregon for the summer. When I returned my garage door would not open. I put the key in and manually opened the door to find some else's car in my garage. When I reported it to HOA they told me a mistake was made and the person whose car was in my garage was in Ohio and would return Nov1 2015. My personal items that were left in the garage were gone. What are my legal rights to reclaim what was legally mine and also how do I remove his car from my garage
  • I have filed a charge with the EEOC against my employer. Do I have to find another representative for wrongful termination, breach of contract? I was suspended for 2 weeks to take care of a legal issue but then was termed on the 6th day into the 2 week suspension on matters not relevant to suspension.
  • i have a neighbor who has a ton of clutter on his walk way to the front door of his apt one its not only and eye sore but its also a fire hazard my landlord trys to get him to remove it but is having a hard time what can she do is there any laws that can help her
  • My landlord issued a letter in May, stating that that was my 48 hour notice that she would begin showing my apartment to potential tenants. However, she is stating that she can show it from 12:30-7:30pm every day of the week with that notice. Is that legal?
  • We are preparing to sign a lease. The home was marketed as having a 'large fenced yard for kids and pets." Upon inspection, this 'fenced yard' has one full side of a metal fence completely fallen over, with metal sticking up, posing a safety hazard and not "fenced" for our dogs to be able to safely access the yard. The property mgmt. company said that they're aware of this, but the owner wants to focus on working on the house and not fence at this time. She said we can do something temporary (at our own expense) in the meantime, and possibly discuss this again in the future. Is this legal?
  • We are divorced and both relocating to Phoenix--what do we need to do in order to have our child custody agreement be under Arizona jurisdiction once we've established residency?
  • I live in CA and my ex-daughter-in-law (living in Pima County)won't let me have any kind of relationship or communication with my grandchildren. My sons' divorce and custody was in Maricopa and custody was in Maricopa County. In which county do I file a petition in?I've already been given 2 different answers. Is this something that I can do myself, or will I need an attorney? Will my living in CA make a difference?I tried talking to a clerk and she must have been having a bad day, because she was actually quite rude.
  • Our grandchildren have been placed with us by CPS. Is it still possible for us to file for guardianship? They have different fathers. One is amenable to the child staying with us but the other is contesting the placement.
  • My daughter is 17 and pregnant the baby's father is also 17 but his parents are refusing to let him attend any baby appointments or be a part of the child's birth. The baby is due in March and he wont be 18 until May. What can he do legally? He doesn't want to miss out on his child until he is 18.
