  • My company instituted a tobacco free workplace and we need to go off company property to smoke or vape. Now they are sending security telling us we cannot smoke in front of other businesses on public property and on public reserve land by putting up extreme fire danger signs year round. Can they enforce where we smoke or vape when off of company grounds?
  • I leased a house that I saw 6 months prior. I paid first months rent and deposit totaling 2400. House has no hot water or heat. Trashed, full of prior tenants belongings. I had to have mover put things in house. I am in hotel that I am paying for as house not livable. Can I terminate lease and how?

When I wasn’t there he gave me one day to get out due to lack of communication. I painted patio, garage, shelves, trimmed trees and shrubs, planted flowers, cleaned all units regularly, & complied. I did good work because his clients sent me reviews & he got paid! Can he do that or can I stay until I find a place?
