QUESTIONS

  • Paid $150 for hair services and was not happy with outcome,. The business offered to fix for free under their 2 week service guarantee. After having the "fix" completed they attempted to charge me $75 stating that I had agreed to pay! I left very angry and wrote to the BBB. The business is charging me for theft and I want to know what options I have as I do not feel I should have to pay more for services that were offered to correct their mistake! I have pictures and the $150 receipt from the original service.
  • My roommate and I have been experience rodents for the past month. Together we removed two rats from our air vents and only the on-site maintenance was resolving the issue for 10 business days before the pest control came. They were to be inspecting once a week and after three weeks we would move to step two. They have not been coming to inspect and now we have rat mites. Our management is not bringing them in to irradiate this issue or clean our air vents. Can we break our lease?

  • My question is the father of my child wasn't there when we signed the birth certificate so my daughter doesn't have his last name. How can I add him to the birth certificate and add his last name to my daughter?
  • I lived in apartment for 2yrs. Carpet was new. Contract was up 11/30/18 and completed the walk-through on 11/28. At the walk-through we were told that everything was fine except a stain on the countertop which we were told that we would probably have to pay for. Two weeks later I get a letter that I have to pay to replace the carpet because it's worn more than the 36 month life limit. I have pictures of the carpet and it is not worn nor dirty.

  • Is there a "lemon law" for refridgerators. We have a fridge less than 4 years old, the compressor went out and GE fixed it without charge. Then a month and a half later the freezer stopped working. It was repaired, then broke again one month later. Repair men have been out to the house multiple times and can't fix it. GE is stating that they will give us a discount on a new model but will not replace under the limited 5 year warranty. Do we have any legal rights in AZ? Thank you.
